Description:	Join the Hummingsong Choir and the Sydney Mandolin Orchestra for an unforgettable afternoon of music. 'Songs & Strings' features a vibrant program with musical highlights drawn from across the globe and will leave listeners longing for more. The Hummingsong all-women's choir will soar in a special performance of the Beatles' 'Blackbird' arranged for choir and mandolin orchestra, and swoon in a stirring performance of the enigmatic 'Skye Boat Song'. Each ensemble will perform several individual items including Astor Piazolla's dynamic 'Libertango' and the empowering 'Titanium' by Sia Furler and David Guetta, before uniting to provide listeners the rare opportunity to hear a unique and captivating blend of songs and strings.
